SPANISH BANK NOTES: BANCO DE ESPAÑA - 500 Pesetas PRUEBA DE ESTADO DE REVERSO DE LA SERIE 1884 ´MENDIZÁBAL`. 1 Enero 1884. Prueba realizada por ´American Banknote Company. New York´ para el Banco de España por encargo del Consejo de Gobierno y que no llegó a aprobarse en sesión gubernamental debido a que finalmente aprobaron el diseño de Mendizábal. En este ejemplar bellísimo se unen dos rarezas: la RARÍSIMA e inencontrable calidad de conservación en un billete clásico Precintado y garantizado por PMG (nº 6308039036008G) como 53 EPQ y la rareza histórica de ser el ejemplar conocido perteneciente a los archivos históricos de American Banknote Company. SC.
