Cover to HAVANA (Cuba), opened for better exhibit display, mailed from PARIS via London (Jan 24), franked by 1849 25c. blue horizontal pair and fine single 1fr. carmine on yellowish tied by GRILLE SANS FIN. Handstruck ´NE´ and rate mark ´2´ in blue of receipt and Havana cds in blue. File fold through pair but a rare first issue cover. Ceres 4,6.
