HAITI. 1877 (Nov. 22). Great Britain 1870 1/2 d. rose-red two singles pl. 5 and 10, a vertical pair and a block of four pl. 12, used on front and back of 1877 entire letter form AUX CAYES to ST. THOMAS, cancelled in Jacmel with three strikes of the C59 obliterator in black with JACMEL / PAID cds on front in red (Nov 25) and reverse with Danish P.O. ST. THOMAS arrival cds in black (Nov 28). Carried at the inter-island 4 d. rate. A SCARCE and most attractive usage. Cert. BPA (2020).
